Dear Friends and Supporters, Exciting news from the ground—our new community medical clinic is officially preparing to open its doors in just a few weeks! Our ultimate goal is to provide affordable, holistic medical services to families who need them most. Thanks to your incredible generosity during our 2024 fundraising efforts, we successfully purchased vital medical equipment and secured the funding needed to pay our medical staff for their first 12 months. Since September 2025, our dedicated clinical team has been working tirelessly on the ground. Beyond preparing the facility, they have spent the last year navigating Kenya’s rigorous Ministry of Health licensing and approval process. While the bureaucratic journey took longer than anticipated, our persistence has paid off! We secured our official Laboratory License on April 13, 2026, followed by our main Clinic License on August 17, 2026. We are now just one final step away, eagerly awaiting our Pharmacy license registration to complete the puzzle. Once the doors swing open, this fully equipped, modern clinic will serve all members of the community by providing: Comprehensive Care: General consultations, laboratory testing, and minor surgical procedures. Family & Maternal Health: Dedicated Maternal Child Health (MCH), Family Planning, and ultrasound services. Community Wellness: Confidential HIV testing and counseling services, alongside an on-site pharmacy. Why we need your help today Because the government licensing process took a full year to secure, the financial reserves originally set aside for our staff's first year of operations were used to sustain the team during the waiting period. To ensure our medical team is fully supported as they launch operations, build a patient base, and work toward financial self-sufficiency, we need to raise $88,885.00 This crucial funding will secure our staff’s salaries for the next 18 months, giving the clinic the runway it needs to break even and eventually generate income to support even more vulnerable children through CCP's programs. Every contribution creates a vital safety net for the healthcare workers who will save lives daily.

Many of our sponsored children and their families are facing extremely harsh living conditions, where putting food on the table has become a daily challenge. These caregivers play a critical role in nurturing and supporting children in our program, yet many struggle to meet even their most basic needs. You can partner with us to provide monthly food bags to 273 households for 456 children, ensuring that no family goes hungry.   The Rites of Passage Experience (ROPES) program helps learners, especially those in Grade 9, prepare to navigate the challenges of life as they transition from childhood to adulthood. The program is designed to guide them through this important stage of life based on biblical principles. Students learn about the responsibilities entrusted to them and what is expected of them as they transition to senior school. The program encourages them to put aside childish ways and begin embracing maturity, responsibility, and godly character. The year-long curriculum covers various topics and essential life skills taught by their teachers. Later in the year, participants attend a one-week camp, where they put into practice many of the life skills and lessons they have learned throughout the program. During the camp, girls are guided on how to conduct themselves, understand their responsibilities, and prepare for the challenges ahead. Boys are taught how to handle life's challenges, understand their responsibilities, and embrace their roles in society. Participants also engage in prayer and fasting as they seek to grow spiritually and strengthen their relationship with God. Program Cost The total cost of the ROPES program is $12,572 distributed as follows: Leadership Program – $4,000 Training Manuals – $750 Primary School Graduates' Training and Coordinators' Training – $2,500 Camping Expenses – $5,322 inclusive of tents Our Growing Need for Tents This year, we are planning to take 58 students and 11 counsellors to camp—the highest number of participants we have ever had. With the increase in the number of children attending the camp, we need to increase the number of tents from our current 29 tents to 40 tents. This means we need 11 additional tents to comfortably accommodate all the participants and ensure that the camping experience is safe, organized, and conducive to learning. The cost of one tent is $110, and we need a total of 11 additional tents, bringing the total cost to approximately $1,210. We are therefore seeking support to help us acquire the additional tents needed for this year's ROPES camp. Your contribution will help provide a safe and suitable environment where these young people can learn, grow, reflect, and prepare for the next stage of their lives. Help us provide a tent.
