Edger lives with his ailing mother. His father died in July 2008 after suffering from Cardio Pulmonary Arrest due to Meningitis. Edger is the last born, and has two sisters and a brother. He is in Pre-School at Jamoka Primary School. His mother, Rodah Engefu, is unemployed. She is a Christian and attends Gospel Mission Center Church, Kawangware.

Florence lives with her grandparents Jane and Onchabo Mogusu. Her mother died in June 2010. The hospital report indicated that she died from Severe Post due to Abortal Sepsis. Florence has no siblings and his father is not known. She is in Preschool at Nairobi Language School. Jane sells green vegetables while Onchabo is a casual laborer at construction sites. Jane and Onchabo live with their three biological children aged 12, 10 and 8. The two attend Lavington Seventh Day Adventist Church where Jane is a member of the women ministry.

God Gift lives with his ailing mother Linet Anyango Owiti. His father abandoned them in 2010 while Linet was admitted in hospital. God Gift is the last born in a family of four; Elvin, Bronchi and Lara who are 12, 7 and 5years respectively. Bronchi and Lara will also be joining the Sponsorship program.God Gift attends By Grace School. Linet is a Christian and attends Lords Worship Christian Center with her children. She works as a casual laborer to earn a living.
